Disney Princess Makeup Tutorial Sleeping Beauty

Disney Princess Makeup Tutorial Sleeping Beauty

Quirky pink-haired make-up artist XSparkage is back in this fun video to share her top tips to achieve a beautiful Sleepy Beauty Disney Princess-inspired look at home. Using water based and mineral products, XSparkage begins this pretty pink eyeshadow tutorial by patting on a pale pink colour after wetting it slightly. The key here is to delicately pat the shadow onto the lid, ensuring it’s the same consistency across the eyelid. Blend out the edges with a stiff shadow brush; you’ll find the pale pastel colour really makes blue and green eyes pop. Alternatively, try this look if you have dark brown eyes to steer away from your usual deep, dark shades or neutral favourites.  Next, opt for a slightly brighter pink and pat it on top of the previous shadow for an amplified look. Taking a neutral brown shade, XSparkage places the shadow in the crease area to add interest to the pink shadow. Pat this on lightly before taking a deep brown mineral shadow and dabbing this in the outer corners of the eye, blending it out as you go. Offering fantastic tips on how to apply eyeshadow, the Chicago-based make-up guru has filmed a series of Disney Princess looks – all which are available to view here at Make Up Tutorials. A vanilla eyeshadow shade acts as a highlight colour under the brow and a pink shade is applied to the inner tear duct area with the 217 brush by MAC. Next, line the under eyes with a neutral shade and add a dark brown eyeliner to the waterline. Line the upper lash line with a black liquid liner and add a coat or two of mascara to complete this innocent doe-eyed look. Do you love the doll-faced Disney Princess look? And do you own any cheap cosmetics which will help you recreate this look on a budget? We’d love to know how you get on…
